"Hallmark ornaments are incredibly popular, so we're very grateful to the Dorsey's as well as the H.O.L.I.D.A.Y.S. club for the donation," said Jarrod Lyman, president of the museum's board of directors. We're sure the tree will raise a lot of money thanks to them."
The auction is in its 11th year, and raises money for local non-profits by selling decorated Christmas Trees and wreaths along with a silent auction. In addition to the tree, the museum will also have a wreath adorned with decorations painted by kids during museum art classes.
Tickets for the auction are $30, or four for $100, and can be purchased at Sierra Telephone, Foster & Parker Insurance or on the website.
Admission includes hors d'oeuvres and complimentary champagne at 3 p.m., with bidding for the live auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. For more information, go to www.biddingforgood.com/bgcoakhurst or call 559-683-9000.
